Maurice wakes up early, puts on his shirt, straightens his cardboard head. But leaves sprout from within—more and more each morning. He works properly in the office, yet his eyes never quite meet the screen. He stays silent in meetings, because his mind is rooted in another kind of soil. Much like Gen Z: “I entered the system, but never really belonged.” He doesn’t try to show others his inner peace—but his head gives everything away. When flowers start growing out of you, hiding who you are is no longer possible.
